Curtain for an Existing Track or Pole

01. WIDTH

Take a measurement of your pole/track between the pole/track ends.

02. HEIGHT

At least from 3 points, measure from the bottom of the pole/track to the floor and consider the longest measurement.

In the case of eyelet curtains, measurement should be taken from the top of the pole/track and 3cm is added to it.

01. WIDTH

Perfectly measure the width of your window frame. A stack-back of 10cm to 30cm is to be added to each side for every 1m of the window frame.

02. HEIGHT

The height from where you are planning to install your pole/track to the floor is to be measured.

In the case of eyelet curtains, add 3cm to the measured value.

TOP TIP: How to get the perfect width...

Try to maximise natural light by making sure your curtains clear your windows when they’re open. Different curtain styles need different amounts of space, i.e. some ‘stack back’ into smaller spaces. Use the table below to work out exactly how much you need.
